Applications for school places starting in September 2009 can now be submitted for the following year groups:

Reception (children born between 01/09/04 & 31/08/05)

Junior (children born between 01/09/01 & 31/08/02)   

Secondary (children born between 01/09/97 & 31/08/98)

Please note: this on-line system is only available to Warwickshire residents.

The application allows a user to create an account, add their children to the account, and create one or more school preferences for that child. Once the preferences have been created, they are available for the Local Authority (LA) to view. At the end of the Admissions period, the LA will begin allocating children based on the information supplied in their preferences.

ONCE YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR APPLICATION YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO ALTER YOUR PREFENCES ON LINE. A CHANGE OF PREFERNCE MUST BE REQUESTED IN WRITING STATING YOUR REASONS .

Closing date for applications is the 24 October 2008.

Before completing your on-line form please read the primary/secondary booklet applicable to your application. These booklets will be available from Friday 18 July 2008 online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk by clicking on Schools and Learning and then relevant booklet. Alternatively, if you would like a hard copy posted to you, please email clicking here with your name, address and your choice of area booklet. Hard copies will be available from Monday 18 August 2008. If you wish to preference Harris School in Rugby, you will also be required to complete a Supplementary Form. Please contact the school on 01788 812549 to receive a copy.

Grammar School Testing

If you are applying to a Grammar School your child will need to sit the selection tests. You must register for your child to sit these tests by the 4th October 2008. You can download the registration form from the Warwickshire web or by contacting us on 01926 742037 to request a paper copy
